400 YEARS of African American History Commission from 21-23 August 2019

THANK YOU to the National Park Service U.S. Department of INTERIOR
the Supt. and Staff at Fort Monroe National Historic Monument-
to the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLES of all VIRGINIA.
Especially U.S. Congressman Bobby Scott and the 400 YEARS of African
American History Commissioners and Chair Dr. Joseph L. Green, Jr. as well, as Rev. N. Cox and Mrs. Kenya Cox Commission members from Kansas-
The HAMPTON Convention & Visitor Bureau Ms. Michelle J. Hergenrother, CMP who provided ground transportation to the front door of Paradise Ocean Club at FORT MONROE National Historic Monument, where the Commissioners presented my Medallion-Ribbon for being
selected a Recipient of the "DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD"
No words exist to adequately express the enormity of appreciation and gratitude.

of Kansas came and officially presented the QUINDARO TOWNSITE also known as
the QUINDARO RUINS / Underground Railroad as new NATIONAL COMMEMORATIVE SITE
on Tuesday 23 April 2019 along with other CONGRESSIONAL LEADERSHIP.
"BUT for the GRACE and MERCY of GOD" thank you to each, every, any and all for the many, many years and seasons to those who've helped to obtain historic preservation and restoration
of the largest known archeological UNDERGROUND RAILROAD in all of North America.
Being nominated, then selected as one of our nation's DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS from the Congressional enacted law, means the world to an ordinary Navy Veteran such, as myself: and hopefully will encourage NAVY VETERANS and VETERANS of all the Branches of Service: that we, can continue helping to serve our country in our communities with PASSION PROJECTS and utilize our active duty training with team building and determination improve our own quality of life and our neighbors, as well. THANK and continued BLESSINGS to each and everyone one yALL-
